I'm looking forward to some exotic offerings from Hawaii!
I like those few wispy feathers on his head. As usual--great pictures!

Birding Beavercreek (and Beyond)
The video was stellar!! Hawaii? Oh, my, Kelly. What a lucky girl.
Oh Kelly, each and every view is breathtaking! Love the video at the end too. Wonderful photos.
Nice catch! Say, Kelly, way back in childhood, I read somewhere that some birds eat up to six times their own weight each day--their metabolisms are so high. Can that be right?
Great photos. The heron is beautiful.
Thank you, everyone!! This bird was spectacular. He was so patient and didn't mind me sitting there at all. I was tucked behind bushes and made no sound, so maybe that was why he was so tolerant. I really enjoyed watching him for so long.
Awesome series of shots of the Green Heron, Kelly! Happy weekend to you!
Wow...what great close-ups! these birds are so cool.
Wow this is a wonderful post with magnificent pictures, just as the two previous ones... Mamma mia, wonderful Kelly.
