Carolina Chickadees are never afraid or timid. They always fly right up and tell you all about it...
Perched on a bun, this fellow was very enthusiastic with his chatter
until he finally nipped off a piece of bread and flew off with it.
...his little song melts into my heart every time I hear it.
...in the dead of winter the chickadee's song is just too perfect for words.

Beautiful captures Kelly.
They are so much like our Marsh/Willow Tits over here.
The soft colours are absolutely lovely! It's always the smallest of birds that are the friendliest (and the cutest!)
These are beautiful pictures Kelly... Ours in France, called marsh tits or the others such as blue and great tits are quite shy and it is rather difficult to approach them. What a chance you have to be able to do so nice pictures ;-)
Great pictures of that "innocent" little Chickadee!
Try holding one some day...
Amazing the close ups you got.
Chickadees and Wrens are my favorites, of little birds that is!
While resting on a hammock, I had one land by my head once.
I love chikadees too now Kelly! Great photo's again.
Heh, heh! Chickadees are greedy little things. If you put some seed in your hand and hold it out they'll fly right up, perch on your fingers, and chow down.
Great shots!
Outstanding photos of this little guy. They are just too cute for words. I love watching them too.
Beautiful! Sometimes one or two of these little guys will be waiting up on the feeder cross-bar while I'm re-filling the feeder right next to them lol. I love them!
Absolutely adorable.
He is pretty!
Just what I needed - a dose of chickadee cheer!
Thank you!!
Your photos show how rewarding it is to get great shots of one of our yard birds. Nice pictures!
Beautiful pictures Kelly:-)
Wonderful shots of this little guy ...like your choice of verbs to describe him! Nice post!
They are such sweethearts. Many times when I put food out in the mornings they are the first ones to sound the alarm..."Breakfast is ready." Your pictures are adorable!
Love those sweet little Chickadees, Kelly.... We have lots of them and they are such Cutie Pies. You got some great pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
Gorgeous shots of the Chickadees, Kelly. That breadcrumb fairy brings magic to the park.
No doubt one of my all time favorites... very good pictures. What we do without Chickadees?
And here on Chickadee Drive, they are even more special!! ;c) I love those little birds, I do!
I love the chicadees too! Your photos are great.
Vickie, the bird guru at the garden center I frequented in VA, fed the chickadees from her hand.
Brilliant again Kelly.
Oh Kelly, your photos of that cute little chick-a-dee-dee are fabulous!
Awesome closeups.
Oh how I love these pictures. I recently put up a window feeder so I can paint and watch the birds and the chickadee is the only bird that uses it so far.
These are beautiful. What a treat to find your blog!
Beautiful photos of such sweet little birds.
These are wonderful shots. I have so much trouble telling if they are Carolina or Black-capped! Mine look like yours, so maybe I've been wrong about which they are. I do wish it was easier to tell!
awesome chickadee shots, Kelly! I love those birds, and they are pretty obliging sometimes, so sweet! Excellent photos!
Oh Kelly, you captured little Chiggy's personality so well in these photos. So sweet. I love it when they come tell me hello while I'm out filling the feeders.
Gorgeous shots!
