Great picture, Kel.... Did you all eat at Lady N Sons???? We tried when we were there last summer---but couldn't get in (and we hadn't made a reservation). We ended up eating at Bubba's Oyster Restaurant (Paula Deen's brother's place). It was great!!!!
Hope you and your family have a wonderful 4th weekend. Love you, Betsy
Betsy....the line was way too long to just try to get reservations, so I bought my mom an apron and my dad some coffee (along with some spices) in her store. The coffee smelled soooooo good! I LOVED Savannah......the old cemetery was so interesting. So much history...
(Since I am such a big USA fan and was able to spend so much time in that beautiful country of yours I also celebrat this day a little in my heart... ;-)
I hand hold the camera for all my photos (I used to use a monopod or tripod for distance and macro, but the VR lenses don't seem to require it). I crop the images down in Aperture (I'm a Mac).
The Story Behind "Red and the Peanut"
Red and the Peanut is named after my first bird memory. When I was about six, I was at my Great Aunt Mary's house and she was telling me about Red and the peanut. "Red" was a Northern Cardinal that had trained Aunt Mary to feed it peanuts on demand. Since Aunt Mary's "Red" started it all, what better name could I choose?
