Mrs. Red, a.k.a. The Heat Miser

Mrs. Red had an erie resemblance to the Heat Miser this morning out on our deck, seemingly having styled her crest after that fiery little guy's hair-do (she also looks perturbed with the current weather conditions)...

Why Mrs. Red--your crest appears to be aflame!

  1. Hmmmm... Mr. Heat Miser seems to have a few more flames on his head than Mrs. Red. She must be an apprentice.

    Nice shot!

  7. Your photos are just too beautiful! Wish I could get shots that close:) I love my squirrels but I am sick of them destroying my feeders. My mom bought me a Yankee Flipper for Christmas. We'll see if it turns them into flying squirrels!

  11. Now there's a blast from the past! Whew! "I'm Mr. Heat Miser, I'm Mr. Sun..." Every so often I've gotten that song in my head over the years but I couldn't remember what Christmas special it was from. Now I know!

    That is a great picture.
