Big Blue in living color…

…whenever I see a beautiful bird (and they all are beautiful), I want to paint or draw it, but when I put paintbrush to paper, sometimes my excitement and love for the bird shows up in extraneous color, as in this representation of Big Blue:

I love watercolor and I think you did a great job on the Heron. When we lived at the coast we regularly visited a Heron Rookery. So interesting. We only get the odd Heron up here and only in the summer.

My husband is really quite artistic but has a big block on at the moment! He is attempting to learn water colors. I'm not artsy ... only appreciate the art of others. My best friend also does water colour but has recently taken up acrylics.

Kelly, I can't get over how good you are at that. Such a talent. I hope you frame some of them. If I had that talent, they would be framed and all over my house!

You've got a great talent there, Kelly. I loved the Goldfinch drawing you shared with us earlier, and I really love this. The colors are beautiful.
