That is so funny! I so miss seeing my State Bird while drinking my coffee in the morning on the patio. Out here it is only sea gulls, pelicans, and fly fish.
Thank you for dropping by and commenting! ...isn't he hysterical! I couldn't believe it when I was photographing him. Oh my gosh...he's actually trying to hide from me! I've never seen a bird do that before. He hung there in his "hidden" state for a few more seconds until I walked on, and he flew off.
Ha! Love this post Kelly! What beautiful, clear photos of that cardinal!! They seem to be a deeper red this time of year.
ReplyDeleteHeh, heh! Like little kids who hide behind their hands because they think that if they can't see you then you can't see them. Good shots!
ReplyDeleteCute Kelly.... I love the color of the cardinals --but they cannot hide from much of anything... ha

Hugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, and that really sounds like a Cardinal. Either they have extra good eyesight or they are more camera/people shy than most birds.
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! As if with those bright red feathers there's anywhere he could hide!
